We have a famous saying Uptown: “Summer doesn’t start until we do.”
For years on end, that has been undoubtedly true. But this year? The unimaginable happened. The New York Knicks won the NBA Finals—I checked, we’re not dreaming. Summer actually started during that historic Finals run. We followed that up by hosting the FIFA World Cup, and Jay-Z shutting down Yankee Stadium three nights in a row. The city was buzzing at an all-time high. So when we officially tipped off on July 8th, we poured gasoline on the fire.
