🏀 Mother Nature puts a Damper on Day Two

Welcome to all the new subscribers of The Dyckman Dispatch! That Opening Night recap along with the graphic on IG certainly boosted our numbers. The team has a lofty goal of how many subscribers we want by the end of the Summer, let’s see if we can get there 🚀 

Last night we had two goodies on the schedule; two former champions versus two brand new teams:

• 7PM: (2x Champion) Elite 365/4TK vs. Locks Sold Separately 

• 8:15 (1x Champion) Ave Life vs. International Grind/Vale Sports Div. 

Unfortunately, with about ten minutes into the first game and Elite 365 ahead 15-8, the rain started coming down. Emanuel Egutba already had 8 points and a couple monster slams! The game is scheduled to continue today at 7PM.

Because you are subscribed, I’m going to give you an early look at tonight’s schedule:

• 6PM Boys HS/19u: LPAC vs. Mookie’s All Stars

• 7PM Men’s College/Pro: Elite 365/4TK vs. Locks Sold Separately (Cont.)

• 8:15PM Men’s College/Pro: ICFMF vs. The Nine

It’s Summer in New York CIty, so this won’t be the last rain out. I think I’m going to start sharing some of my favorite stories on the slow content days. I’ve been around for about 1/3 of the tournament’s existence so I’ve got some great memories!
