Happy Monday, everyone! This edition of the Dyckman Dispatch is absolutely loaded.

On Friday night, we crowned our Women’s Pro Division champions, and over a massive weekend, we handed out hardware to our Girls HS, 14U, and 16U champions. Oh, and tonight? We crown our Men’s College/Pro Division Champions at the Red Carpet of Streetball.

Friday August 28th

🏀 BOYS HS DIVISION

Team Watson vs. The Program

Team Watson kept their undefeated record intact with a complete dismantling of The Program. It stayed relatively close in the first half, with Watson taking a 29-21 edge into the break behind 13 points from big man Salim Diaby. The second half was where things got ugly, as Watson outscored The Program 38-16 to run away with it. Salim Diaby finished with a game-high 22 points.

Team Tracey vs. Rim Rockers

Team Tracey added key firepower to their roster, most notably Dazon Reid and AJ Moody. The duo combined for 28 of Tracey's 39 first-half points, taking a nine-point lead over the Rim Rockers into the break. The Rim Rockers spent nearly the entire second half chasing, but at the :50 mark, Gabe Philipsburied a three to cut the deficit to 64-61. After a Team Tracey turnover, Keishaun White drilled a game-tying three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining. Team Tracey turned it over yet again on the ensuing possession via a backcourt violation. Putting the ball right back in White’s hands, he drew a foul and calmly drained the game-winning free throws. Keishaun White led all scorers with a game-high 25 points. Teammate Melo Mojeed chipped in 20 points in the thriller.

🏀 WOMENS PRO DIVISION

No Limit vs. Team Dyckman (Championship Game)

Every summer, it feels like the title always comes down to these two juggernauts: the mighty No Limit vs. the home team, Team Dyckman. It was a highly competitive battle early. No Limit led for most of the first half, but a Chardonnay Hartley buzzer-beating floater gave Team Dyckman a 24-23 advantage at the break. While you'd expect Dyckman to carry that momentum into the second half, No Limit completely flipped the script with a furious 12-0 run out of the locker room, safeguarding a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game. Brianna Barnes finished with a game-high 21 points and took home Championship Game MVP honors for No Limit. 🏆

Saturday August 29th

🏀 14u DIVISION

LPAC vs. Reign Supreme (Semifinal)

Coach Hec and LPAC had this game circled on their calendar. On top of being a semifinal elimination game, Reign Supreme was the only squad to hand LPAC a loss during the regular season. After a 7-7 tie at the 7:40 mark, LPAC exploded on an 18-3 run to close the half and kept their foot on the gas all through the second half to secure revenge. Josiah Belfor led the attack with a game-high 12 points. Omar Syuu chipped in 9 points as LPAC advanced to face defending champions Top Boy Elite.

🏀 16u DIVISION

Team Dyckman vs. Top Boy Elite (Semifinal)

Team Dyckman found themselves in the 16U Final Four for the first time in recent memory. Early on, the stage seemed almost too big as Top Boy Elite jumped all over them to take a 23-11 halftime lead. It took Dyckman nearly the entire second half to climb out of the hole, finally cutting the deficit to 37-35 with 1:30 left. Khai Campbell scored all 13 of his team-high points in the second half, including the game-winning layup off a turnover with 10 seconds remaining to punch Dyckman's ticket to their first 16U title game in over a decade.

Faith & Hope vs. Harlem 4 Life (Semifinal)

In our second semifinal, Faith & Hope overpowered a tough Harlem 4 Life squad. Jourdan Archevaldled the way early with 9 points as Faith & Hope built a 25-12 halftime cushion, using stifling defense and timely baskets to protect the lead all the way to the final buzzer. Jourdan Archevald dropped a game-high 15 points. Ethan Riullano added 13 points (11 in the second half). Faith & Hope, led by Coach Joe Brown, are no strangers to championship games at Dyckman and advance to face the home team for the crown.

Sunday August 30th

🏀 GIRLS HS DIVISION

#1 PD Nation vs. #3 Gauchos (Championship Game)

Top-seeded PD Nation had been giving teams headaches all summer, and the championship game was no exception. They jumped out to a fast early lead against the #3 seed Gauchos and never looked back. Led by Jennifer Pinnock’s 9 first-half points, PD Nation entered the break ahead 27-15. Their full-court press and relentless offense kept the Gauchos at bay all second half. Pinnock scored a game-high 18 points, earning Championship Game MVP honors. 🏆

🏀 14u DIVISION

#2 LPAC vs. #4 Top Boy Elite (Championship Game)

Our 14U title game featured defending champions Top Boy Elite squaring off against an established LPAC program. The first half was a physical, low-scoring defensive battle, with Top Boy Elite holding a narrow 13-10 lead at the break. We saw a completely different LPAC squad in the second half, outscoring Top Boy Elite 29-12 over the final frame. Carmelo Almodovar earned Championship Game MVP after drilling two clutch second-half three-pointers and sealing the title at the line late. 🏆

🏀 16u Division

Faith & Hope vs. Team Dyckman (Championship Game)

Team Dyckman set the pace early in this one, holding a 13-12 lead midway through the first half. The tide turned when Ethan Riullano caught fire from deep, nailing four first-half three-pointers to push Faith & Hope ahead 25-21 at the break. Dyckman trailed throughout the second half, finding themselves down 40-30 at the 2:10 mark. A frantic 15-2 run in an 80-second window cut the lead to 45-42 with 50 seconds remaining, but Faith & Hope held their composure to seal the title at the free-throw line. Ethan Riullano finished with a game-high 20 points to earn Championship Game MVP honors. 🏆 7'1" William Biney added 10 points and provided a dominant presence on both ends.

A massive congratulations to No Limit, PD Nation, LPAC, and Faith & Hope on incredible seasons and bringing home the hardware!
