“AND STILL... your Dyckman Basketball Tournament Boys High School Division champions: Road to Riches!”🏆

Last night at the Red Carpet of Streetball, Head Coach Glasses pulled off a legendary feat that very few coaches in streetball history have ever accomplished:

  • Back-to-back champions in the Boys High School Division.

  • Winning both the High School AND Men’s College/Pro Division titles in the exact same summer.

Final Four and Chip Night was an absolute movie—and it certainly wasn't a smooth ride on the Road to Riches. To get to the crown, they had a tough Jungle to survive.

#1 LPAC vs. #2 Road to Riches

The opening Final Four matchup featured arguably the two best high school teams in the tournament this summer. LPAC handled Road to Riches comfortably during the regular season, but without 5-star prospect Moussa Kamissoko in uniform to drop another 25-point performance, this rematch played out very differently.

"No Moussa, no problem"—at least that’s how it looked in the opening half as LPAC dictated the tempo. Behind Brice Yancey’s 14 points, LPAC took a 30-24 lead into the break.

The defending champs elevated their defensive intensity in the second half, locking down LPAC’s offense to grab control of the game. LPAC didn’t convert their first second-half field goal until the 3:45 mark.

Despite the scoring drought, it remained a nail-biter. A clutch three-pointer from Demari Watson with 50 seconds remaining gave Road to Riches a 45-41 cushion. Amadou “Hami” Barry answered immediately with a tough and-1 conversion to pull LPAC within one. Following a series of traded turnovers, Mahamadou Jaby sealed the game at the charity stripe to punch Road to Riches' ticket back to the title game.

  • Demari Watson finished with a team-high 12 points for Road to Riches.

  • Amadou “Hami” Barry scored 11 points in defeat, accounting for all three of LPAC's field goals in the second half.

#2 Jungle Athletics vs. #5 Team Tracey

With Road to Riches advancing, the stage was set for Team Tracey to set up a rematch of last year’s title game. Although Jungle Athletics held the higher seed, many in the crowd viewed them as the underdogs.

Jungle Athletics completely flipped that narrative early, pouncing on Team Tracey out of the gate to build a double-digit cushion and doubling them up 32-16 at halftime.

Team Tracey never found their rhythm as Jungle's dynamic backcourt duo of Matthew Santiago and Jourdan Archevald took over, scoring 18 and 15 points, respectively. Supported by Christian Brown’s 13-points, Jungle Athletics comfortably advanced to the championship game for the first time in program history.

🏀 BOYS HS CHAMPIONSHIP

#2 Road to Riches vs. #2 Jungle Athletics

After a ten-minute intermission, it was time to crown our 2026 High School champions.

Jungle Athletics didn't miss a beat playing back-to-back, using momentum to their advantage early. Tyler Romeo picked up the offensive baton, pouring in 11 first-half points as Jungle went into the break trailing by just a single point, 30-29. For Road to Riches, Yandel German carried the load with 9 points in the opening period.

The lead traded hands multiple times in a hyper-competitive second half. Romeo stayed hot, adding another 11 points to keep Jungle in the hunt. However, the sheer size and depth of Road to Riches eventually wore down Santiago and Archevald, holding the duo to 13 and 7 points, respectively.

Offensively, Demari Watson took complete control when it mattered most, scoring 13 of his 15 points in crunch time. With under two minutes remaining, Road to Riches pushed the lead to seven at 59-52 as the reality of a repeat set in. The champs executed down the stretch, draining free throws and managing the clock to lock up the trophy.

  • Demari Watson was named Championship Game MVP for his ice-cold play down the stretch.

  • Road to Riches goes back-to-back, capping off a historic summer for Coach Glasses and the program.
